Evangelistic Miniatures
I received the call to be an evangelist immediately when I met Jesus in 2003. In the early years of my faith, I was more hesitant to evangelize verbally, but God opened a way through another path—in London, at IKEA; He doesn’t care about time or place! 😄

The journey began to unfold through so-called miniature roomboxes and later expanded into paintings, crafts, writing, and music. In practice, this means sharing my faith in Jesus both verbally and through visual art and music.

But how does the actual “evangelism” happen when I’m not necessarily physically present? I have participated in numerous group exhibitions in Finland and the Netherlands, and have also organized many solo exhibitions. I always bring my exhibitions to places where people who do not typically go to church can be reached.
My most natural venues included, for example, libraries, hospitals, day centers, rehabilitation activity centers, and schools (at least a few years ago)… basically any place where encountering art might not be expected. Nowadays the exhibition is available only online (here!), as the emphasize in my ministry has changed along the years.

My works are often easy to overlook at first glance, yet they are unique enough that if someone pauses in front of them, they speak louder than a thousand words. That is the moment when my “call to evangelist” is fulfilled. 🙂
