Some of the most famous words Jesus ever spoke. In this piece, the primary medium is needle felting, and it portrays that very statement of Jesus. The framework is provided by a box with a glass lid.

In the upper left: “The Way.” The compartment contains a sandy road and old boots. A signpost points toward a needle-felted sunset, with the destination marked as Revelation chapter 4. In that chapter, John describes his vision of heaven and what it is truly like.

In the upper right: “The Truth.” As the old saying goes, truth does not burn, even in fire. In addition, we believers proclaim the Bible as the full Word of God, true in every part. For that reason, a miniature Bible is found in the middle of a woolen sea of flames, unharmed! 😁

At the bottom: “The Life.”  The Life scene features a needle-felted “tree of life.” In front of the tree is half a nutshell containing mustard seeds. If we had faith even the size of a mustard seed... 🙂
