This painting tells the story of the first rush of infatuation between Lady Adorabella and Sir Noble. Sir Noble does not yet quite understand what it is all about, but Lady Adorabelle is already in full swing.
 

The painting process begins with composing the image on paper, in this case across several A4 sheets joined together. After that, I transfer the image onto the painting surface, which has been prepared as thoroughly as possible in advance, especially in terms of the background.
 

I eventually worked on this particular painting in the main hall of Juva Library as well, where I had an exhibition in 2012. The painting was not quite finished in time for the exhibition (in fact, it is still, in 2025, slightly unfinished…), and the library director encouraged me without hesitation to set up my working arrangement right there in the hall. This turned out to be extremely rewarding and sparked many good conversations, including spiritual ones, with people visiting the library.
